Incense is enhanced by the sweet smell of tonka bean in the base of the fragrance. Penhaligon´s London is a British perfume house founded in 1870 by William Penhaligon. Originally a barber shop, Penhaligon´s launched its first fragrance in 1872, Hammam Bouquet. The fragrances were issued regularly from the original shop in Jermyn Street until it was demolished in 1941. The shop disappeared but the company´s fragrances endured and in 1956 Penhaligon´s was awarded a Royal Warrant by the Duke of Edinburgh. The fragrance was launched in 2021.
